Prim Hearts

Prim Hearts is a blog about primitive doll making and what I learn as I make each new doll.

Name:
Location: California, United States

I own a Watkins home business and use the products to improve the lives of my family and myself. I also make mosaic birdhouses, mirrors, and plaques and signs. My newest passion is making prim dolls for doll collections. Each doll is hand made from muslin cloth and then outfitted with hand made clothes. Items are added to accent each doll. No two dolls look exactly alike and each has its own special name.

My Prim Dolls Are Made For Collecting and For Toys For Older Children

The prim dolls I design and make are for doll collections, home accents, and toys for older children. They are light-weight and made with soft fabrics and stuffing, which make them cuddly. However, small buttons, attachments, paints, craft wire, and accessories could be harmful to small children.
