Prim Hearts

Prim Hearts is a blog about primitive doll making and what I learn as I make each new doll.

Name:
Location: California, United States

I own a Watkins home business and use the products to improve the lives of my family and myself. I also make mosaic birdhouses, mirrors, and plaques and signs. My newest passion is making prim dolls for doll collections. Each doll is hand made from muslin cloth and then outfitted with hand made clothes. Items are added to accent each doll. No two dolls look exactly alike and each has its own special name.

Primitive Doll Polly is being given away at Under the Rainbow's Birthday Celebration, June 2-7

My newest doll is Polly. I created her for the Birthday Celebration at Under the Rainbow Craft Mall, June 2nd through June 7th. She'll be given away during the celebration!

Polly is made of tea-stained muslin. Her dress is accented with white lace and a green button-shaped heart. Her pantaloons are white with white lace. She has on painted black MaryJanes with a tiny green buttons. Her hair is embroidery floss and her eyes are little black buttons. Her face is stitched and her cheeks are blushed. She is approximately 15 inches tall. She's ready for the birthday party with her present and balloon! Won't you join her at the birthday celebration?

The bench that Polly is sitting on is one of the crafts available at Under the Rainbow Craft Mall, listed under Dolls and Toys. Buy one for your dolls and stuffed animals.
